Palmitoylation improves penetration but changes the molecule — a result for one sequence does not transfer automatically to its marketing relatives.

Evidence and Realistic Timelines

Peptides degrade slowly in water-rich formulas and are inactivated by incompatible preservatives and reducing agents; copper peptides visibly oxidize when spent. Airless pumps, anhydrous bases and opaque packaging measurably extend active life.

A serum that states active concentration and explains its packaging is the exception in this category — those two details are the fastest credibility check on any brand.

Layering with Other Actives

Peptides layer well with almost everything except strong direct acids at the same step (very low pH can affect peptide stability on skin). Apply vitamin C or strong acids at a different time of day, keep the routine consistent, and judge results at week 12, not week 2.
