Pharmaceutical & Drug Discovery Research
Peptides are the fastest-growing class of new drug candidates, and most projects begin with a synthetic research peptide. Groups working with GLP-1 class compounds use our tirzepatide, retatrutide and semaglutide materials as analytical references and in vitro tools; groups in endocrinology study growth hormone releasing peptide analogs such as tesamorelin, ipamorelin and sermorelin; and oncology programs probe angiogenesis with modified variants of endogenous peptides. Whatever the target, the rules are the same: documented identity, defined purity and a supplier who can answer method-level questions. See our GLP-1 research guide and clinical peptide research overview for field-specific context.
Immunology, Vaccines & Epitope Mapping
Overlapping peptide libraries are the workhorse of T-cell epitope mapping: 15-mers with 11-residue overlaps spanning a protein antigen reveal which linear epitopes are recognized by patient sera or T-cell clones. We synthesize these libraries at research scale with pooled delivery options, and provide MHC binding prediction support so immunology groups can prioritize candidates before spending on synthesis. Related services include KLH and BSA conjugation for antibody production, and phosphopeptide sets for studying immune signaling.
Enzymology & Protease Substrates
FRET-quenched substrates (Dabcyl/Edans and orthologous pairs), chromogenic pNA substrates and phosphorylatable kinase substrates are core tools of enzymology labs. We routinely manufacture quenched fluorescence substrates for protease kinetic studies, peptide sds gel markers and standards, and phospho/dephospho substrate pairs for kinase and phosphatase assay development.
Cosmetic Science & Dermatology Research
Cosmetic laboratories research signal peptides (Matrixyl 3000), carrier peptides (copper peptide GHK-Cu) and neurotransmitter-inhibitor peptides (Argireline) for collagen stimulation, skin barrier and expression-line studies. Formulation stability, penetration enhancement and peptide–excipient compatibility are the key research questions — all covered in our skincare peptides guide.
Imaging, Probes & Structural Biology
Fluorescently labeled and radiolabeled peptide probes target receptors with high affinity and low background, making them standard tools for receptor binding studies, fluorescence microscopy and PET/SPECT tracer development. For structural biology we supply isotope-labeled peptides for NMR and peptide kits for crystallography co-crystallization, including helical stapled peptides and disulfide-constrained loops that lock a bioactive conformation in place.
Cell Biology & Delivery Research
Cell-penetrating peptides such as TAT, penetratin and poly-arginine variants deliver cargo across membranes and anchor an entire field of intracellular delivery research. We synthesize CPP-cargo conjugates with cleavable linkers (disulfide, hydrazone) as well as antimicrobial peptide libraries — amphiphilic peptides and alpha-helical sequences — for groups studying membrane disruption mechanisms.
